Spring Cleanup Event
March 19 @10am!

​

Come join us one hour Saturday morning and help clean up your neighborhood!

Gloves, trashbags and vests will be provided, but you might want to bring your own gardengloves and tools to help with a few beautification projects. We are meeting at The Beautiful at 10am on Saturday March 19.

Mission: To promote a positive and informed business environment for our members to achieve cultural, civic, social, economic, and business goals, and actively contribute to the vitality of the greater Cascade community.

 

Vison: Our vision for Cascade is to be a place that continues to thrive economically, fosters a culture of

opportunity and inclusion, celebrates our rich history and embraces our future possibilities.

Values: We care about creating a safe and clean environment to conduct business, promoting a culture of community and customer service; sharing an authentic narrative of Cascade, and driving increased economic opportunity for current and future business owners in Cascade.

Boundaries: CBA is centralized in the Cascade Heights commercial historic district, extended to include businesses which associate with the Cascade road corridor.

 

Strategic Priorities:

  1. Focus on creating a safe and accessible place to do business

    1. Reduce Crime

      1. Create a safety district and see what is needed to get foot patrol on the corridor.  

      2. Organize Public Safety events and forums that are solutions based

    2. Walkable and Connected

    3. Finding a community parking solution for businesses

  2. Cleanliness and Aesthetics

    1. Organize neighborhood and district clean-up days

    2. Launch a “Be Clean Cascade Campaign” 

    3. Support local artist and find ways to add more art to the district

  3. Create signature events that drive new customers to the district

    1. Live Fresh Cascade Festival

    2. Take 5 Happy Hour Monthly Social – Businesses Rotate Hosting a networking and social event.

    3. Launch a District wide Customer Service Campaign – “Be Kind Cascade”

Born and reared in Lithia Springs, GA, Renita Crawley is a true Georgia native. She obtained her AS in Business Administration from Gordon College and BS in Fashion Merchandising from University of Georgia. Renita has a sincere passion for Residential and Commercial real estate.

Andre Henderson is the owner of Henderson Art Studio. Andre was born in New York City, and raised by a highly creative family that was motivated by science, visual and literary arts. He taught himself to draw and paint as a youngster, inspired by his intuition and a desire to capture the human spirit on paper and canvas.

Hilde Haakensen is the owner of Best In Show Doggy Daycare, Groom & Board. The Norwegian citizen settled in wonderful Cascade in 2007. She remains active in the community to promote growth and progress.
