Cascade Heights is once again clean from trash and debris, thanks to a group of enthusiastic local small business owners that took to the streets Sunday the 27th of September 2020 and picked up trash along Cascade Road.

About 20 people came out to Celebrate a Day of Service and keep Cascade Clean. The Beautiful Restaurrant provided biscuits and coffee to the voluntaries, and two hours later the Cascade Business Corridor was clear of trash and debris.

Cascade Business Association's annual Toy Drive and Ugly Sweater Contest.at The Spice House on Thursday Dec 13th, 2018 turned out to be a big success. Over 100 hospitalized kids at Grady Burn Center received gifts on Christmas Day!

LIVE FRESH FESTIVAL
May 19th, 2018
On Saturday, May 19th Live Fresh Cascade Festival was held. Participants came out and enjoyed a sunny day of fun, live music, street vendors, face-painting, finance and health workshops, and community-building. There were activities for the entire family!

The Cascade community partnered with the Department of City Planning on various projects over the past year and the Live Fresh Cascade Festival served as our inaugural celebration for the community! The Cascade Business Association and Live Fresh, Inc. were both born out of these initiatives to further foster community and economic development for the Cascade Heights area.
​
There was something for everyone at the Live Fresh Cascade Festival and we look forward to doing it all again in Spring 2019!

Cascade Storefront Redesign Project
The City of Atlanta has launched the Storefront Redesign Initiative in the Cascade Heights Commercial District. The Storefront Redesign Pilot is one part of a broader Cascade Next initiative of the Department of City Planning to support community members and business owners in implementing their vision in the revitalization of the Cascade Heights community.

Clean Up Day Monday Jan 15!
Volunteers for the M.L.K Community Clean Up
The Cascade Next committee had arranged for a community clean up of the business corridor along Cascade Rd on M.L.K day Monday the 15th, and about 30 enthusiastic residents showed up at 10 am - ready to beautify the area.
​
About two hours later all the trash was gone, and by passers expressed support and gratitude for the initiative.
​
Another cleanup will be arranged this spring.

Wells Fargo Works for Small Business: Neighborhood Renovation Program - Community Event, hosted in partnership with the City of Atlanta, to highlight investments that both Wells Fargo and the City of Atlanta are making to small businesses in our community.

The evening featured a panel discussion of small business owners who recently received grants through the Wells Fargo Works for Small Business: Neighborhood Renovation Program. Wells Fargo, in collaboration with Rebuilding Together and The Samuel Group, made $55,000 total of renovations into four Atlanta small businesses.
These owners talked about how they are taking their businesses to the next level. Learn more about the program and winners here. Additionally, discover how Wells Fargo Works for Small Business®may be able to help you or small businesses you know with everything from managing cash flow to growing a customer base, tapping into new markets, and more.
